In Bathinda, we are restoring green spaces by planting native trees that provide food and shelter for bees, butterflies, and birds. These trees are naturally suited to our soil and climate, ensuring long-term survival and ecological balance. By creating habitats for pollinators, we strengthen biodiversity and support healthier farms, gardens, and communities. Each native tree planted is a step towards a greener, more vibrant Bathinda.

In Bathinda, we are developing Miyawaki forests with native trees to create dense, self-sustaining habitats for pollinators. These fast-growing micro-forests provide nectar, shelter, and breeding grounds for bees, butterflies, and birds. By restoring biodiversity with native species, we strengthen ecosystems, improve air quality, and reconnect people with nature. Each Miyawaki patch becomes a living refuge for pollinators and a greener future for Bathinda. 7 such forests have been created by Tree Lovers Society.

We are working to deconcretize spaces around old native trees in Bathinda, freeing their roots from suffocation and allowing them to breathe again. By removing concrete and restoring soil, these heritage trees regain their strength to flower, fruit, and host bees, butterflies, and birds. This simple act revives natural habitats for pollinators while protecting the city’s living green heritage
